This Return and Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which you may request a return, exchange, or refund for orders placed via the Namma Cart mobile and web application (hereinafter referred to as the "Application"), operated by Namma Cart (hereinafter referred to as the "Service Provider").
By using our Application and placing an order, you agree to this Return and Refund Policy.
1. Eligibility for Returns
You may request a return or replacement for a product if:
The item delivered is damaged, defective, or expired
The item received is different from what was ordered (wrong product, size, or brand)
The item is missing or partially delivered
The product is within the return window, which is generally 24 hours from delivery
To be eligible for a return:
The item must be unused and in its original packaging
You must provide proof of purchase (Order ID, invoice)
You must report the issue within 24 hours of delivery
2. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return or refund unless defective or damaged on delivery:
Perishable goods (vegetables, fruits, dairy, frozen items)
Personal care items (toothbrushes, razors, sanitary products)
Opened food packets or tampered packaging
Items marked as non-returnable during checkout
3. Return Process
To initiate a return or refund request:
Open the Namma Cart app → Go to My Orders
Select the order and tap on “Report Issue” or “Request Return”
Choose the reason, attach supporting images (if applicable), and submit
Our support team will review and respond within 24–48 hours
Upon approval, we will:
Arrange a pickup (if required)
Offer a replacement or refund based on stock availability and issue type
4. Refund Process & Timelines
Once your return is approved or a cancellation is confirmed:

COD Orders | Bank transfer (NEFT/IMPS) | 5–10 business days (after bank details are shared) |
If your refund is delayed beyond 10 business days, please contact us with your Order ID and payment details.
5. Order Cancellations
You may cancel your order before it is dispatched, by:
Visiting My Orders → Select Order → Cancel Order
Cancellation is not guaranteed once the order has been processed or dispatched.
If cancelled:
The full amount will be refunded if prepaid
COD orders will be simply voided
We reserve the right to cancel orders in case of unavailability, payment issues, or suspected fraud.
6. Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective, damaged, or incorrect. If the exact product is not available, we may:
Offer a substitute
Process a full refund
7. Exceptions
Returns and refunds may not be honored if:
The return request is made after 24 hours of delivery
The product has been used or opened
Tampering or intentional damage is suspected
The original invoice or proof of order is missing
